Vicar’s Landing Retirement Community in Ponte Vedra, Florida has been offering seniors a beautiful and relaxing place to live out their latter years since 1982. Created by Rev. James H. Cooper to serve the needs of those in the Southeast area, Vicar’s Landing grew to include hundreds of independent living residences, an on-site assisted living facility, Stratford, which has nearly forty spacious suites to offer members, as well as an award-winning nursing facility, Windsor Health Center, featuring over fifty private rooms and sixty licensed beds. It has been recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities as an accredited Life Choice Community™, winning the coveted Governor’s Gold Seal for eleven years straight.
With all its fantastic amenities and excellent service, it’s no wonder demand at Vicar’s landing is high. The unbeatable reputation of this luxury retirement community led to the launch of Vicar’s Landing Home Health in 2008, an extension that allows more seniors a chance to take advantage of the top-tier care provided by the highly-trained Vicar’s staff.
Services such as Companion Care and Home Health Aides allow seniors to remain in the homes they love, living independently with just the amount of assistance they require. Whether it’s tidying up, lending a hand with meal preparation, or providing recreational activities, Companion services offer it all. Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants can provide personal care like help with hygiene and feeding, in addition to those services provided by Companions.
While opportunities to become a member of Vicar’s Landing Retirement Community are limited, the Home Health extension continues the tradition of care for older adults, offering a chance for more seniors to benefit from an established excellence in long-term care.
